2014 Swimwear Collection

The designers of Maaji Swimwear debuted their 2014 swimwear collection along with their women’s lingerie and first ever Men’s Swimwear collection.

The men swimwear is very nice. As for the women’s lingerie and swimwear collections, it was filled with prints + lace.

The show was pirate theme, and the models strutted down the runway with pirate hats + eye patches + collars + bootie heels, etc.

One might think that if all of the above is on a model during a swimwear runway show, it might take away from the bathing suits.

I didn’t feel as though it did. If anything, I think that the pirate theme showed that the designers don’t mind taking a risk — and who wants to play it safe when it comes to swimwear!!?? Bravo!!! I really like the collection.

I’m usually not crazy about prints when it comes to swimsuits for myself, I’m more of a bold color type of gal but this collection really made me think twice about prints. I admire most of the prints that they used, the swimsuit below caught my attention.
