Angela Simmons

Angela Simmons – Angela I Am Collection..

Angela Simmons unveiled her collection this NYFW, and I’m happy to report that I was in attendance to view it. The place was packed! Some of Angela’s biggest supporters were there in front row to cheer her on in her new endeavor. Her father, Rev. Run and brother Russy beamed with pride while waiting for the show to start. I spied Sean Kingston and rapper Bow Wow seated next to each other chatting it up 2 rows ahead of me. Model Tyson Beckford, and actor turned musician Tristan Wilds were there also. I spoke with Amanda Diva before the show began. She was telling me about a show she has coming up, and we were going down memory lane because my parents worked with her in the beginning of her career. The list goes on, but Angela definitely had a full house and everyone’s expectations very high.

Soon we were told to take our seats, signaling that the show was going to begin. The beat dropped, causing us all to direct our attention to the left where Angela’s name was illuminated in pink lights, excited for what was to come.

I’m impressed with her collection. She didn’t veer off to far from her own personal style. Every piece looked like something that she would wear herself. That is great to see because there is nothing more annoying then when you see celebs come out with a line of clothing that they themselves wouldn’t even wear. It was very nice, NYC chic! It was filled with reds, black, leather, faux fur, etc.

I took photos, but unfortunately the models were walking extremely fast so my photos were coming out blurry lol. I took 2 really long videos. Can you believe that I accidently deleted the 2nd video after the show?! Lack of sleep must have gotten to me because I literally couldn’t understand how I did that!! Back to the collection..

I loved the collection. Congratulations and good luck Angela!
