Happy September, everyone!
I have been so busy that I haven’t had the time to check in, but now its at the top of my list. As you all know, I graduated from Parsons in May and if you don’t know, I am continuing my education back at FIT. I took classes at FIT in high school, and went there after high school before transferring to Parsons after being offered a full scholarship. I wanted to go back to FIT after I graduated Parsons because it was my original home and I want 2 degrees from the top Fashion Design colleges in NY. Above you’ll see my two IDs — my high school one, and my current ID. (I lost my undergrad ID in the library when printing something.)
So far, so good. I definitely miss Parsons though. This experience at FIT is much more different than my experience before and different compared to my time at Parsons because I am in and out. I am working now, which is different and holds me accountable for any time management issues. FIT, like Parsons, is a business oriented school and I am definitely — as always, about my business.
I am going to try not to go into hibernation mode for the Fall semester because of what I have going on and what I have planned but we’ll see! My mom took me out to lunch after my first set of classes and once I had my pina colada, all was well in my world.
