I discovered the beauty of CoverFX concealer while taking a class at Sephora and I’ve been in love with the product ever since. I found my perfect shade, it was not greasy but it gave me a natural dewy/no makeup look. It was absolutely perfect. However, the bottle is a little small so I was thinking to myself that if the concealer is this amazing then the foundation is probably out of this world! So, I was granted the opportunity to review CoverFX Foundation and I’ve been testing it out for over a month. Here is my Cover FX Foundation Review. Let’s talk coverage.
With this product, a little bit goes a LONG way! You may be looking at the foundation bottle size and say for the price the bottle could be a little bigger, understandable but believe me when I say that all you need is about two drops of this foundation to get flawless skin. It covers any and all blemishes and doesn’t have a heavy or muddy feel afterwards.
My only two issues with the foundation is that I could’ve gotten a lighter shade, and I will have to carry a blotting paper moving forward because if the temperature is too hot my t-zone gets a little shiny while wearing this product. I thought that I could’ve gotten the same shade as my Cover FX concealer but it turns out I could’ve actually gone a bit lighter. Now, the foundation works just fine because I currently have a tan but earlier in the month is was making me look tan when I didn’t have one. So it’s actually a good mistake on my part, lol.
I also reviewed the Illuminating Primer and boy oh boy does this primer make my highlight POP!! If you like a little bit of light as far as your makeup goes then I would definitely try out this product if I were you.
I’ve included some photos above to show myself with the foundation on. I absolutely love it. This is the first foundation besides Mac that I don’t have a reaction to (so women with sensitive skin, you can try out CoverFX as well). I also see this bottle lasting forever and a day because a little goes a long way.
Amazing, amazing, amazing. This is my go-to for foundation and concealer.
P.S. I obviously realize now how much I love cat eye looks and neutral colors on the lid 🙂
