Emerson

The Emerson show started about 20 mins late. We all sat in anticipation of what’s to come. Kelly C. then came cover and alerted us of the fact that the designer was waiting on her children/mom to come by train. While we would’ve loved for everything to start on time, we definitely understood. Not too long after the announcement, we all clapped and smiled as her children made their appearance and ran to their seats.

Emerson was filled with hounds tooth, plaid, leather and tweed. Designer Jackie Fraser-Swan also threw in some metallic which brought everything together. I would describe this collection as simply elegant. There were splashes of red, black, yellow, purple and plum! Every color complimented the next. The colors flowed together very nicely. I was impressed by Fraser-Swan’s choice of material. My favorite pieces of the collection had to be the plaid! I adored it and can definitely see myself in one of those pieces. The Emerson collection was definitely worth the wait.
