I graduated with a degree in Fashion Design from Parsons the New School for Design on May 19th and 20th.
Who would think that the journey of studying at Parsons would’ve started with covering an event there for this blog?
I received a scholarship to study at Parsons and accepting this honor was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
Though it has had it’s ups and downs, Parsons has taught me all that I know in the world of construction.
The countless trips to Mood Fabrics, the all-nighters, countless projects, and plotting on how to get a space in the construction room on the 4th floor.
This may be a little TMI but I literally ended up bleeding on all of my final projects that I turned in at Parsons because I’m clumsy.. but also because I put my blood, sweat, and tears into everything that I do in the fashion world as this is everything to me and then some.
I cannot wait to expand my knowledge by going back up to 7th Avenue to further my education back at the Fashion Institute of Technology in the Fall!
