Married to Medicine
On Monday I had the pleasure of attending a private lunch with two cast mates from Bravo’s reality series Married to Medicine. We, bloggers and editors gathered in a suite at 30 Rock to chat and discuss the new season of the show with Dr. Heavenly Kimes and Quad Webb-Lunceford. Over lunch we had a Q & A and also discussed what we should expect this season. These ladies were such a pleasure to be around.
Most people turn their noses up at reality television, and I’m not going to lie – while I find the drama of some shows entertaining I only watch shows that I believe actually serve a purpose. Now, television wouldn’t be great without a bit of drama so that definitely is included in this series, but it also showcases women as doctors. They are very intelligent as well as sophisticated. Those who are not doctors are married to doctors which also shows a different perspective. All in all, I enjoy the show when I have time to catch it on tv. Last season I missed a few episodes though so I plan to catch up before watching this new season.
We learned in the Q&A that Quad plans to expand her fashion brand which will definitely be interesting. P.S. television doesn’t do Quad justice because she is breathtaking in person. I’m talking flawless skin and legs to die for. She is a tiny little thing as well! She looks much shorter on TV.
Both ladies were a joy to be around and I’m very happy that I was granted the opportunity to attend.
