‘Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse’

I’m still not over how amazing my God Mother in my head looks on her album cover. I am a sucker for sunsets, the artwork is amazing.

Can we just have a moment of silence for my iPod? I will be playing this album over and over again. I have only listened to the live stream and she has done it again! I am so happy to have new Mariah music, I have really overplayed all of her other albums esp. Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel! I was so excited to hear what she has to sing about after her 5 year break from the studio.

OMG, I almost forgot. PRAISE her for giving us the ‘Betcha Gon Know‘ part 2!!! Finally, she is telling us what happened next.. and with who else but R. Kelly? I’m so here for this, you don’t even know. I always listen to Part 1 and I’m just like .. ‘okay MiMi, when are you going to continue?’ lmao. Needless to say, I am very very happy.

Supernatural is nothing short of extremely cute. Ms. Monroe is coming for everyone’s edges and she’s not even four yet. She is a mini Mariah. Dem Babies did such a cute job on this track, I can’t stop smiling while listening to it. Monroe saying ‘I’m a Chanteuse’ at the end put the icing on the cake for me.

Money ft. Fab is amazing. I can’t stop playing it. That track is my favorite along with You Don’t Know What to Do ft. Wale. Those are definite bangers.  I’m still listening to the album though so I’ll go on and on about the other tracks when I’m done playing it. For now, Money and You Don’t Know What to Do are on repeat!
