Hello, October!

What’s Up Everyone?

Hi, all! I feel like it has been forever since I have blogged but that bad habit stops now! I’ve been so busy with class work and it’s been crazy. I appreciate it though as it gives me much more to write about lol.

Parsons so far has been amazing. I have to give it up for my school and all Fashion Design students attending it because this is a 24/7 task, I swear. I am at Parsons 7 days a week when I only have class 4 days out the week. You would think that when you come on a Sunday or Saturday that it would be a ghost town but no, it’s actually just as busy as a weekday. The Fashion School building is open until 2 am…. no joke.

When you’re working hard and then you look to the left & right of you and see even more people working just as hard as you is a motivating factor.  Art school is like regular college x3. The amount of dedication, drive, and commitment that you have to make in order to survive in this school and Fashion overall is out of this world; but if you love what you do it never seems like work to you. I don’t mind making sacrifices and working hard for all things Fashion because I cannot see myself doing anything but THIS. I do believe that it will all pay off in the end as it’s paid off so far ;).

I feel at home at Parsons and I’m very happy to be here. Now, don’t expect the same joy from me on Saturday and Sunday as I’m trying to finish my sewing and draping homework.. lmao. I truly do feel like I am meant to be here :). Continue to wish me luck! Good luck to all of the Fashion Design majors out there as well. Xo
