Queen of R&B/Soul

                   My mom’s early Mother’s Day present from me was tickets to her idol Anita Baker’s concert last Sunday. We went and had a wonderful time. I grew up listening to Anita in the back of my mom’s car, in the house while my mom was cleaning, and on the radio. My mom has gone to every concert her’s, bought every album, and had every Anita Baker haircut back in the day!  So, growing up listening to Luther Vandross and Anita Baker has taught me to appreciate good music.

                I was very happy to be able to add Ms. Baker to my concert list. I enjoyed every minute of the show and loved seeing the smile that Anita Baker put on my mother’s face! Sherri Shepard and Bebe Winans were at the concert too! Anita brought them both on stage. When she brought Sherri on stage she told her how beautiful her smile is and that she loved her on Dancing With the Stars! I couldn’t agree more. Tyrese came out and performed his new song with Ms. Baker which was very nice. We had a good time!
