Sephora | I’ve Died and Gone to Shimmer Heaven!

Review of Sephora’s

Moonshadow Baked Palette |&| Sephora It Palette

Hola! As a glitternista and self-proclaimed Glitter Queen, you know I almost fell out of my seat when I opened up my package with goodies from Sephora! As soon as my eyes set on the Moonshadow Baked Palette from Sephora, I died and went to shimmer heaven. The title of this post is not misleading at all, I tell no lies, glitter is nothing to play with. Let’s get down to business. Below are swatches of the MoonShadow Baked Palette.

This palette is an oldie but definitely a MUST HAVE goodie for every girl that likes all eyes on her — which is pretty much every girl lol! Spring time is coming, let’s jazz it up with the Moonshadow Baked Palettes! The shadows range from dark to light — my favorite has to be the browns. I really cannot resist a neutral or brown shadow, quick to do and it goes great with my skin — call me lazy all you want :P. I tried the shadow and when I say it pops, it POPS! The glitter stays on too, it’s not extremely flaky like some glitter shadows you may find. Now, washing off the shadow is another story! Just kidding, the process is not tedious, just don’t be surprised when you forget to wash off a sparkle or two and people assume you had a great night out!

The Sephora palette was the second palette given to me to review was of great quality too. Once again, it includes a both shimmery/glitter shadows but also flat colors too. It’s the ideal palette to create a smokey eye. That is one look I definitely have not mastered and I won’t even add a photo of my latest attempt to this post because that’s how bad it looked lol! Don’t even think about laughing at me ;). I’m just not meant for a smokey (as far as doing on myself) but I know that a lot of my readers probably go for that look on a night out. To all that are capable of getting the look down, this one is ideal for you. You can create a series of different looks with the palette too, I am just putting emphasis on the Smokey Eye shadows for the smokey lovers. The shadows are highly pigmented and the glitter is not a joke (no play play over here). I’ll post a look later, when I get my face beat. I’ll show you the specific photo of the smokey eye when it’s done by the glam squad! Thank you so much Sephora! Don’t get it twisted, I still hold the crown for glitter queen! 🙂
