ShinHan Art Touch Twin Markers

ShinHan Art Touch Twin Markers

I am so excited to announce that ShinHan Art Touch Twin Markers is now sponsoring me! As you all know, I’m an aspiring fashion designer.  My specialties are evening gowns, swimwear, and bridal wear. I was a bit apprehensive about posting my art work/designs online because I’ve heard some horror stories about people getting their designs stolen. I eventually got over that, and started posting photos of my work on my personal Instagram to share with whomever wanted to view.. — but I would delete them shortly afterwards.

With the encouragement of friends and colleagues I will be posting my designs on my blog + online (permanently lol), and I’m really excited to share some of the things that I’ve been working on! (While I will be posting my designs online, I will focus on posting the sketches that emphasize the use of color vs. my more unique designs – because as you know, I’m an aspiring design and I’m sending my more original/unique dresses to stylists and future clients.) I’ll be taking this step with Touch Twin Markers and I could not be happier!! Let me tell you more about ShinHan Art Touch Twin Markers.

The markers are from Korea, (your girl is going International!). When I was opening the package that held the 60 set box of Touch Twin Markers I was grinning from ear to ear in anticipation. Once I finally got that out of the way, I finally got to the gold, the box set of ShinHan Art Touch Twin Markers! I opened the box and my mouth dropped at how many beautiful colors were included, and how neatly they were displayed.  The packaging is beautiful. The set comes in it’s own little box with a handle and Touch Twin Markers is written on the front. Everything is in a colored group order, which makes plucking the markers  from the box a lot easier. A sketch pad was included also, and an extra black marker. Neons, Flesh tones, Warm Greys, Cool Greys, etc. There is so much to choose from.

Passionate Color, Professional Touch” is phrase that ShinHan Art uses to describe their markers, and I couldn’t agree more. I took photos of everything displayed nicely on the table and then I got straight to work, I had to test them out as soon as possible. I whipped out my sketch pad and started sketching. After finally deciding on a Pastel Green from the Touch Twin set, I started to render the gown.

The tip of the marker is a brush tip, which is perfect for blending and soft marker strokes. You can control the bleeding which is perfect. The markers are so inky for lack of a better word. Have you ever bought a marker and it literally went dry after only a few uses? Though these markers are new, I can tell that will not be the case because they are so inky!

Also, Touch Twin markers ink can be refilled, which is great because you will save so much money. No need to buy a whole new marker, just buy the ink.. perfect. These markers are double-ended with fine and broad nibs which are also replaceable. ShinHan Art Touch Twin markers are odorless, because it contains an alcohol-based ink that doesn’t dissolve printed ink toner.

Do not think that these markers are only for great for designers either, you can use them for illustration, animation, architectural renderings, etc. There are 204 colors to choose from. 204, can you believe that?

Bottom line is that after using these markers I instantly fell in love and I’m so happy to use them and add them to my collection. I am so happy to be working with ShinHan Art, (and I’m so grateful for my new ShinHan Art Touch Twin Markers), and I am eager to see the magic that we will create together. Thank you for supporting me and my designs, here is to a wonderful partnership!

I took photos of the markers, and myself while designing the other day. You can view them below. So much more to come, stay tuned!

(( p.s. My Monster headphones are my favorite headphones in the world, that’s one of the two pairs that I have. These are the only headphones I use and swear by.. listening to music, being fabulous, and designing fabulous things at the same time 🙂 ))
