108 Days of Yoga? Yes!
Hey! I mentioned that I was reviewing this intensive DVD called The Ultimate Yogi a little while ago. I’ve been quite busy, so I finally got a chance to start the DVD yesterday. It’s broken up into twelve separate cds, which are 12 dynamic yoga classes. I’ve taken yoga classes before, and I love it. Yoga is very calming, and it definitely does the trick if you do it before going to sleep. I started the first class at 1am. I had a bit of a stressful day, and I had to relax. I remembered that I was supposed to start this a little while ago, and I started it today at 1 in the morning.
The description on the back of the dvd says ‘Take a journey of 108 days as you transform your life from the inside out. You will follow three thirty-six day cycles that address every facet of your being. Be prepared to take your body, mind and soul to the limit. This is the program that will bring you the ultimate in fitness lifestyle fulfillment.” They told no lies. I felt so refreshed after completing the first DVD which was an hour of cross training. I did cramp up in my stomach a bit after but that went away in about 10 minutes. I have lower back issues, and I found that it helped with that for the night. It does get a bit repetitive, I might add.. but that’s alright. You balance is tested a bit in this 1st dvd, lol.
The instructor was saying that on this quest that you should go on the Yogi diet too. I looked that the computer like 0_0 lol! Everyone that knows me knows that I am a foodie.. Where the food goes? I’m not sure, but after hearing him say that we should give up sugary foods, fried foods, etc. I was like hm… one step at a time lmao. I am trying to get right for the Summer though so I will let up on the sweets just a tiny bit and I’ll definitely monitor what I’m eating as far as fried food goes… no promises that I’ll quit cold turkey though lol but I’m working on it.
Yesterday was a great start to a wonderful 108 day journey. I am ready. I’ll take photos next time, maybe during the 3rd DVD which is ‘Strength’. 1st day.. complete :).
