Today I had the pleasure of getting eyelash extensions Cheri Wroblewski at Lash Boutique in NYC. It was a wonderful experience! I walked out of that boutique batting my luxurious newly-extended eyelashes at anyone who would look. I’m getting all dolled up because as you all know, NY Fashion Week is right around the corner — (in three days to be exact). I wanted to get my lashes done for the occasion!
As soon as you walk into the boutique you feel at peace. The atmosphere is very serene and peaceful. If you’re not familiar with eyelash extensions then you might be like wow, 65 lashes on each eye — total overkill much? No, it’s the complete opposite. It’s a very tedious task, don’t get me wrong.. but you’re so comfortable while you’re getting beautified that you won’t notice the minutes flying by. You lay back, listen to the music while you’re getting your lashes done and when you open your eyes and take a peek in the mirror you can not resist the urge to bat your new long, luscious, and lovely new lashes!! Did I mention lovely?
The lash set that I received was the ‘Signature Set’. This was a full set of 65 lashes per eye. The process did not take as long as it sounds. I would say everything was done in about an hour and 15 mins. It looks extremely natural. Cheri also added a bit of a cat eye look for me because thought it would be flattering on me. Meow! I like the fact that my lashes look natural. Natural.. but noticeable.. yet not overly dramatic.. but still faaaabulous! I felt so at peace during the process that I almost fell asleep haha. You don’t feel anything when it’s getting done so when you wake up it’s almost like magic lmao. I won’t need to be standing in the mirror for about 10 mins trying to extend my lashes for fashion week, because with these babies on I won’t need to apply mascara! Can I get an amen?!
There are many other different sets of lashes for you to get done. You can get the ‘Flirt Set’ which is 20 lashes per eye, if you’re going for the natural look you can get the ‘Natural Set’. Do you want gorgeous lashes? If so, the ‘Gorgeous Set’ would be the one for you, which is 85 lashes per eye. Maybe you’re a bit more adventurous than me, and you would rather go for the Dramatic Set which is 105 lashes per eye. Either which way, no matter which set that you choose to go with, I can almost guarantee that you will walk out of Lash Boutique a satisfied customer (with long luxurious, traffic-stopping lashes)!
Cheri was so nice and welcoming. She’s a master at what she does and she can get my business any time! I’ll definitely be back. I encourage all of you to try out Lash Boutique whenever you get the courage to get lash extensions. Thank you Cheri, I’ll think of you every time I bat my luscious lashes while striking a pose at Fashion Week, haha!
