Algenist – One of My Favorite Facial Moisturizers!
This Summer I have made a point to stick to my skincare routine, drink more water, and incorporate new products if needed. So far, so good! I was given the Algenist product above in September after covering a Lifetime event with guest Adriana Lima.
My eyes got as big as a golf ball when I saw the Algenist Genius Liquid Collagen product in my goodie bag and I immediately got excited and wanted to use it.
I committed the crime of letting this liquid gold sit on my dresser for a little while before using it as I had a reaction to something my derm. recommended some time before the event so I was afraid to try something new though I was super excited.
I have been using this product consistently since February, and I now understand the hype surrounding this product!
Genius Liquid Collagen is a little pricey in the skincare department but I have never come across a product like this. I’ll be honest, being young, I do not pay attention to anti-aging products because we are all going to get older, it is unavoidable.
So, when I see reviews of something that state that it can get rid of wrinkles or something along those lines, I just ignore the product.
In this case, I am so happy with this product. This is absolutely perfect to use before bed, it will have you feel like a queen when you hit the sheets. When you wake up in the morning your skin will be soft, dewy, and nice — No lie!
Collagen? What is the deal with that?!
Also, I would like to add that the collagen in this product wakes your skin up like no other.
I barely got sleep this past semester and I would wake up with bags under my eyes (Like Stewie in that one episode of Family Guy, LOL!) and once I slapped this baby on with special attention to under my eyes, my bags did not look as prominent.
