Kimoto Rooftop Garden Lounge

Kimoto Rooftop Garden Lounge Review

I’m just dropping in to drop some gems on you guys about a great rooftop spot called Kimoto Rooftop Garden Lounge in Brooklyn! This rooftop is Japanese inspired so it was only right that I visited the lounge with my good Japanese friend Yuka! While the rooftop is small, good things sometimes come in small packages!

The decor is very cute, and there is an inside area for you to eat in the shade/air condition however there is another side with couches for a comfy conversation. If you want to eat outside, there is an outside area to do that but it was a little too hot when we went so we opted for the shaded area.

You’re surrounded by plants if you choose to sit outside which is nice. The lounge has over 300 sublime plants, ranging from Ming Aralias to Jade and specialty Ginseng Ficus Bonsai.

I skimmed the menu before I left my apartment and there were so many good things to choose from! The restaurant describes their menu as ‘American favorites through an Asian lens’.

I settled on the Skirt steak with french fries, it was delicious.  The french fries were yummy too.  It was super filling as I was beyond full when I was done. All of that for only $24!

Yuka ordered the YUZU SALMON. She liked her food and finished everything but was still hungry after so if you order that, order an appetizer lol!

I would definitely recommend this Rooftop Garden, their food is amazing, the service is superb and the views are great. I’ll definitely be back!

Check out the photos of our food above, the scenery and other drinks/food that Kimoto has to offer. Go in a group, you all will enjoy yourselves!
