Law of Attraction and Manifestation, do you believe in either of the two?
On Instagram I always share my love of looking at motivational videos on YouTube, and watching old interviews of people that inspire me ‘business wise’ such as Sean Diddy Combs, Will Smith, and Jay-Z. I also love hearing Denzel Washington speak, he is so wise. He is on my YouTube list as well. I watch their old interviews all of the time and every time I take away something different.
Jay-Z and Sean Diddy Combs
To be a fly on the wall in Jay-Z or Diddy’s business meetings would be a dream, lol! I think that they are so innovative and hard working, and I admire their commitment to knowing when to shift gears and evolve with the times. Many people from the time that they started are not around, so that says a lot about them as business men, as well as intellectual people. In my mind. think that they practice LOA.
Will Smith
If you watch his old interviews and read his quotes you will be very inspired, and maybe change your ways for the better. My favorite interview of his was when he was saying that he cannot be outworked. Someone may be better than him, faster than him, etc but they will not outwork him in his field. He has shared many, many gems over the years, take the time to look into it. I was excited when he joined instagram and even more excited when he started posting more of his YouTube videos/regular videos there. Everything that he says makes you think, and want to better yourself. Will speaks about manifestation all of the time, its no wonder why his life seems great from the outside. Jim Carrey
I found an old interview of Jim Carrey‘s, which I have linked below. This interview blew me away. So, he has told this story quite a few times.. one of the times being when he was on Oprah. Jim was talking about the Law of Attraction, he is a big advocate of this. He told the story of when he was up and coming/still struggling as an actor, before he booked his first big gig (Dumb and Dumber I believe) he would always fantasize and act like he owned all of the things that he wanted to own, and that he is the big movie star that he wanted to be.
Jim Carrey stated that in 1985 he gave himself until Thanksgiving 1995 to make it happen, and wrote himself a check for 10 million dollars for acting services rendered. The day before the date that he set for himself, Thanksgiving 1995, he received a call to confirm that he got the gig and he said that he was paid $10 million dollars. That is mind blowing…. absolutely mind blowing!!!! This is the reason why I got interested in the Law of Attraction.
Am I Using the Law of Attraction?
I am in the process of doing quite a few things with very little time to read but I have found some Summer gems about LOA and manifestation that I would like to take the time to finish before September. The books will be discussed in my next post.
I also started writing in a journal which is pretty therapeutic. The key to manifesting/attracting something is to not only believe it, but also write it down.
