NYX Beauty Products

Hi, all!

I have always loved the NYX Brand, so I was so excited for the opportunity to review their products. Lets get started. Now, I love a good cat-eye so the first product I picked up was ‘The Curve’ liner. This product is amazing. I have always envied the perfect, jet black and dramatic cat-eye that I’ve seen people in the industry with and now I can do it too! So can you. Above you’ll see my photos of my liner. I’ve been receiving compliments since I’ve been using the curve and I can’t seem to put it down. It’s super easy to use and it’s long lasting. However, it’s not a pain to remove which is great.

The contour kit did not work for my skintone. I found that it was dry and it didn’t match at all. I did some research and saw that people of a lighter tone were able to use it successfully and it gave them a flawless finish. If you are a person of color, I probably just wouldn’t recommend this specific product for you.

Illuminator. Oh my gosh. This product is my favorite. This is amazing for a nice, light glow for daytime or night. It adds some light and spunk to your everyday makeup routine and it also brings your evening look up a few notches. I love the effect. Whenever I use this product people always send a compliment my way. A little highlight on the cheek goes a long way. This is a MUST have product. I pair it with the NYX Matte Bronze and it gives a ‘J.Lo Glow’ effect. The bronze makes the highlighter even more noticeable and they blend well together. This bronzer is more of a brown hue than it is orange so do not worry about looking like an oompa loompa. It’s great for the light handed as well as the heavy.

The Born to Glow liquid illuminator is amazing for a dewy look. A little bit goes a long way so don’t feel that you need a lot to get a great highlighted look.

I love NYX products, and I believe that you will as well! Be prepared for the compliments and even the stares, because people will ask you what products you use.
