Fashion Design Sponsorship
I am so excited to announce my sponsorship/partnership with Sakura of America. It’s no secret, I’m a lover of all things that glitter. So it shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone that my designs are always adorned with glitter. My dresses are usually not complete in my eyes unless I add a some glitter. Some go for a pop of color, I go for a pop of glitter. I achieve that glitter/diamond effect by using Sakura of America Gelly Roll pens. GOD SENT.
I discovered these pens last year while in Michael’s shopping for art supplies. At first I walked straight past the pens because their set up in the store had been tampered with a bit and I hadn’t seen those pens before. My mom stopped me while I was looking at something and showed me what the pens looked like after she tested them on the testing paper. It was love at first sight. I picked up the silver, it was so glittery. With light and without you definitely got the point that when it graced the paper all eyes would be on your artwork.
I’ve been using Sakura’s Micron pens to outline/add detail to my designs for years but never connected the two in my mind until I realized that the Gelly Rolls were made by the same company. Gelly Rolls by Sakura of America – 64 pack
- Gelly Roll Moonlight Pens – Bright and vivid colors. Opaque ink perfect for drawing. Moonlight pens come in two types, archival and fluorescent. I am in love with the fluorescent pens, they also glow if they are under a black light source. Pink, blue, orange, red, pink, yellow, green, purple, etc. Tons of colors to choose from..so exciting, I am going to sketch as soon as I finish typing this write up 🙂
- Gelly Roll Metallic Pens– Metallic has a distinctive reflective sheen, similar to the bright colors of polished hot rods. These pens write on both light and dark papers as well as glossy and matte surfaces.
- Gelly Roll Classic Pens – These pens are self-explanatory! Classic, everyone needs the classics. These pens are waterproof, fade resistant and chemical proof. No smearing once dry, etc. You can also use these for legal documents, etc.
- Gelly Roll Stardust Pens– These are my absolute FAVORITE! A MUST HAVE FOR ALL GLITTERNISTAS, ARTISTS, AND DESIGNERS! OMG, CAN’T STRESS IT ENOUGH. This glitter ink is a must have. These pens create a glitter wonderland. 12 colors available, and one no pigment only sparkle pen called Stardust Clear.
- Gelly Roll Shadow Pens – Dual color pens, these are great!
In addition to the 64 pack of Gelly Rolls, Sakura of generous enough to send over their Micron pens and their Koi coloring brush pens. I’m very excited to showcase my art using these pens to add detail and accents. I have been using the Gelly Rolls since last year, and it allows me to add the intricate details to my designs.
