Sacha Cosmetics Review
I’m excited to introduce a beauty brand to you all called Sacha Cosmetics that is very popular in Trinidad! The brand is called Sacha Cosmetics, and their products are nothing short of great! I would like to first thank Sacha Cosmetics for the opportunity to review their cosmetics. This brand caters to women of color. My care package consisted of 3 shadows, 2 blushes, a contour kit, brush cleanser, and facial primer.
So much to test, but I was extremely excited to try out the contour kit! It has two palettes, light to medium and medium to dark. I first used their facial primer, which smells nice (don’t worry, it’s not perfume-like or anything, it just has a pleasant smell). I then started the contouring process. I must say, I was very surprised. While the concealer was very smooth and made my skin look flawless, I found that it made my skin really dry. It was hard to apply because it made it dry/the concealer is a bit dry.
At first I thought that it was the fact that I let a minute or two go by after using the primer because I had to make a call, but I attempted to try the concealer again and the same thing happened. Though the process is a bit tedious because of the drying effect, I found that the coverage is amazing and it will leave you looking flawless.
Moving along, up next are the shadows! These colors jump off of my skin!! A little goes a long way, so more Sacha Cosmetics eye shadow for you!
I just tried my brush cleaner yesterday and it gets the job done perfectly. Once again, a little goes a long way. My brushes are squeeky clean! My Hair Addiction makeup brushes in particular are super clean after me cleaning them off with Sacha’s brush cleaner.
The blush is very warming to the face, doesn’t take over. It almost prevents you from going overboard with the blush if that makes any sense, simply because it warms your face but doesn’t have you looking like Ronald McDonald no matter how much you apply. I like it, and the blush also has a shimmer effect as well.
Over all, I give this brand an 8! I would give an 8 1/2 if my voting system had the option. I loved everything, but the drying effect with the contour kit threw me off a bit. I will try it again and follow up with this post. Other than that, this brand is very, very nice and I believe that if you’re looking for eye popping shadows, a wonderful brush cleaner and a warming blush, then you should check this company out — especially if you’re a woman of color or an island gal. Thank you again Sacha Cosmetics for the wonderful care package and the opportunity to review your makeup.
