I have always loved yoga, and with this semester at Parsons being as hectic as usual I jumped at the opportunity to do an anti-gravity yoga class with my roommate Kathryn. I remember seeing photos of people doing this type of yoga and I have always wanted to try it!!
Though intimidating, I excitedly ran over to my ‘sheet swing’ as I called it, (lol) and the class begun soon after. Everyone has to try a class like this. It was awkward at first trying not to look like such a newbie as the class was mixed with regulars and newbies, but overall it was SO relaxing!!
I didn’t want to fall out of the sheet because I literally would’ve died of embarrassment, lol. You get some great stretches in and it also helps anyone with back problems. We participated in this class at Crunch Gym, but there are many other places to try it out.
I would love to continue Aerial Yoga, but with my schedule — let’s see, lol!
